In February of 2000 Kristi realized her childhood dream of illustrating childrenʻs books when her first childrenʻs book "Sharing Grandmaʻs gift" was published.  Since then every book has been a way for her to learn and express her love for the craft of illustrating and the experience of storytelling through visual art, illustration and composition.
